Full Circle

When I was little, we had a small lotus pond at home. I used to spend so much time sitting beside it, just watching the flowers bloom. There was something about the way the lotus grew so beautifully out of the water that stayed with me.

Even after I grew up and moved away, that memory never left. I always wanted to have my own lotus pond one day, just like the one from my childhood. It took time, but recently, I was finally able to get a small pond made at home.

And now, as the lotuses have started blooming, I feel that same joy I felt as a child. Without even planning it, I find myself painting lotuses again and again. It feels like something has come full circle—and through my art, I’m staying connected to that memory
